At the weekend, Gillian presented a live demonstration of the empowering Grassroots Suicide Prevention "Stay Alive" app to Metal for Life NI support group clients and volunteers.

Stay Alive is a free app for mobile devices which can help people stay safe from personal harm or suicide and also help people approach and support someone who may be suicidal.

The app is packed full of helpful mental health support contacts, a space to personalise your own safety plan, and loads of ideas to maintain wellbeing. We highly recommend you have a look.
