What can we offer you?

• Peer Support Groups for support of mental health within the metal community in Northern Ireland, run by competent, friendly facilitators

• Education on illnesses such as depression & anxiety

• Recommendations and literature for self-help

• Educational and supportive events

• Videos, music, blogs and articles for improving mental health

• An empathetic, listening ear for anyone who needs to get in touch

• ...and it's all free of charge!

 

What we do NOT offer…​

• Diagnosis or recommendations on medication

• Formal one-to-one counselling (but we can give recommendations on request)

• Promotion of bands, promotion or sales of equipment or merchandise which does not fulfil the remit of the Metal for Life mission.

• Metal for Life NI should not be contacted in an emergency as our service is not manned 24/7. However, any calls we do receive will be answered as soon as possible.
